- Dr. Rafia Afreen Jalil is a qualified and trained physician specializing in Microbiology.
- Her educational qualification includes- an MBBS degree in 2012 from Bangladesh Medical College and an MD degree in 2019 from BIRDEM. She holds certification in Diagnostic Medical Mycology from ISHAM.
- Dr. Rafia Afreen Jalil has eight (6) publications in international journals and one (12) publication in a national journal

1. Achieved research grant from Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) in 2025-2026.
2. Achieved research grants (02) times from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in 2022-2023, 2024-2025.
