Prof. Dr. Ehsamul Azim

Prof. Dr. Ehsamul Azim has been serving at Green Life Medical College since 2012 and has over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and public health.
He completed his MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College and earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Reproductive and Child Health from NIPSOM in 2009, securing first position in both Part-I and Part-II examinations. He later obtained a Master of Medical Education (MMEd) from the Centre for Medical Education under Bangladesh Medical University.
Dr. Azim began his academic career at Bangladesh Medical College in 2006 and joined Green Life Medical College as an Assistant Professor in 2012. He became Head of the Department in 2019 and was promoted to Professor in March 2022.
He has participated in numerous national and international workshops and training programs in teaching methodology, research methodology, and biostatistics, including programs at the Centre for Medical Education, BMRC, the Institute of Education and Research (University of Dhaka), and CMC, Vellore, India.
Prof. Azim has served as a Dhaka University examiner for over a decade and has authored or co-authored more than 25 scientific publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He is also a trained Assessor for the Bangladesh Medical Education Accreditation Council (BMEAC).
In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has held several important institutional positions, including Executive Editor of the Green Life Medical College Journal, Coordinator of Foreign Students’ Affairs, and Coordinator of the Phase-II Coordination Committee.
