
Prof. Dr. Ehsamul Azim

Prof. Dr. Ehsamul Azim has been serving at Green Life Medical College since 2012. With over 17 years of experience in teaching and research, he is a leading Public Health academic in the country.
He completed his MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College, followed by a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Reproductive and Child Health from NIPSOM in 2009, where he secured the first position in both Part-I and Part-II examinations. He further strengthened his academic expertise by earning a Master of Medical Education (MMEd) from the Centre for Medical Education under Bangladesh Medical University (former BSMMU) in the 2023–2024 session.
Dr. Azim began his teaching career at Bangladesh Medical College in 2006 and was promoted to Assistant Professor (current charge) in 2011. He joined Green Life Medical College in 2012 as Assistant Professor, took over the responsibilities of Head of the Department in 2019, and was promoted to Professor on March 1, 2022.
He has participated in numerous workshops, training programs, and seminars both within and outside the country. His professional development includes Teaching Methodology workshops in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, and at the Centre for Medical Education, Dhaka, along with multiple trainings in Research Methodology and Statistical Analysis from many reputed institutions including BMRC and Institute of Education and Research under University of Dhaka.
Prof. Azim has been a regular Examiner of Dhaka University for more than a decade and a consistent contributor to national journals. He has also authored and co-authored more than 25 scientific articles published in various peer-reviewed national and international journals.
He has also served in several key institutional roles, including Executive Editor of the Green Life Medical College Journal, Coordinator of Foreign Student’s Affairs, and Coordinator of the Phase-II Coordination Committee.
