- Dr. Rumana Tasnim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at Green Life Medical College, Dhaka.
- She completed her MBBS from Chittagong Medical College and earned her M.Phil in Pharmacology from Dhaka Medical College under Bangladesh Medical University (formerly BSMMU).
- She is also pursuing a Certificate in Medical Education (CMEd) at BIRDEM Academy and holds a Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU).
- With approximately 11 years of professional experience, including nearly 7 years in undergraduate medical education, Dr. Tasnim has established herself as a dedicated educator. Prior to joining Green Life Medical College, she served as a Lecturer at Southern Medical College & Hospital, Chattogram.
- Dr. Tasnim’s research has been published in several peer-reviewed national journals. She was the principal investigator of a Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC)-funded research project. To date, she has published five research articles and is currently working on two additional manuscripts.
- She actively participates in faculty development programmes, research methodology workshops, and scientific writing training to strengthen her teaching and research competencies. Her commitment to evidence-based medical education, academic excellence, and collaborative research continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of pharmacology education at Green Life Medical College.
