- Dr. Sudhakar Sarker is a qualified and trained physician specialized in Cardiology.
- He graduated from Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) in 2009. After completing an Internship at MMC in December 2010 he came to Dhaka and Passed FCPS Part 1 in July 2011. He got a chance in MD-Cardiology at Dhaka Medical College in the March 2012 session (Non-Residency). He has done post-graduation training at BSMMU, Dhaka Medical College. He worked as a Resident Medical officer at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute from August 2011 to December 2012. Worked as a Medical officer in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Care Medical College Hospital from March 2013 to October 2017. He was admitted to MD-Cardiology (Thesis) in July 2015 and passed MD-Cardiology from Dhaka Medical College in July 2017.
- After completing MD-Cardiology Dr. Sarker joined Bangladesh Specialized Hospital (BSH) as a specialist Cardiologist on 1 November 2017, then he was promoted to Junior Consultant in August 2019. From 2019 he started adult Cardiac Intervention individually. Then he was promoted to Associate Consultant of Cardiology. He was in BSH from the first of November 2017 to 30th June 2023. During this course of time he has done and assisted > 5000 CAG, >1000 PCI, >100 Primary PCI, > 50 CTO, > 200 PPM, > 200 PTMC, > 50 ASD device closure, > 10 pulmonary Valvuloplasty, > 10 PDA device closure, > 20 ICD and > 5 CRT implantation.
- Dr.Sudhakar Sarker went to attend the Transradial Intervention Course (TRICO) at Apex Heart Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India in 2019 and 2021. He went to attend the CHIP coronary intervention program at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, India in 2019 and 2023. He achieved a Fellowship in Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) in 2022, He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and, a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). He is a life member of the Bangladesh Cardiac Society (BCS), Bangladesh Society of Cardiovascular Intervention (BSCI), and Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).
- Dr. Sudhakar Sarker has 12 (twelve) publications published in national journals.
